Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper and lightly spraying with nonstick cooking spray.
Unwrap Jolly Rancher candies and place them in a saucepan with corn syrup and water. Heat over low-medium heat, stirring occasionally until fully melted (about 5-7 minutes).
If using food coloring, stir it into the melted candy mixture for an extra vibrant effect.
Dip each apple into the melted candy, twirling to coat evenly. Allow excess to drip off, then place on the prepared baking sheet.
